Omnichannel Web-based Inventory System: Fins Recipe

The Challenge

Fins Recipe creates a success story out of homemade Indonesian dessert recipes. It takes the traditional Kue Lumpang and repackaged it as Kue Ijo. With a slick packaging, call center has been busy with delivery orders and outlets are expanding. Their old system was based on Microsoft Excel and it was very difficult to keep track of the inventory across multiple sales channels. Furthermore, the inventory is perishable. They also had problems delivering the dessert quickly to customers without any logistic optimization.

Our Solution

We developed an order management solution for Fins Recipe, enabling the company to have a real-time inventory system across different outlets and call center, and a mobile-based delivery system for tracking all deliveries to customers. We built a web-based order management platform that can combine multiple sales channels: deliveries, pickups and outlets. We also built a fully web-based POS system that can handle both online and offline modes, the centralized inventory system is thus real-time, and order management supports quick lookup of existing customers. The end result is that they can grow the business much faster than before and yet maintain the same service quality.
